SUMMER!!!!

I have had such a wonderful summer with mommy at home! We went to see my great-grandpa, great-great-aunts, and great-great uncles in North Carolina. It was a long drive but it was so much fun! I also went with Mommy and Daddy to visit my grandparents in Baton Rouge. We stayed for two weeks! I've had lots of fun and I'm sad that my mommy has to go back to work next week.

Vision Walk 2009

Mommy, Daddy, Grandpa Stash, and Grandma Cash, and me went to help raise money for Cousin Shelly's Vision Walk. The money goes toward research for vision impairments. The weather was great. I even got my picture with the mascot for the Tennessee Titans!

I LOVE bath time! Splashing is so much fun, especially when I soak mommy!

Okay, I now have two teeth. I haven't slept through the night in over a month and Mommy and Daddy are getting a little frustrated. I tried to tell them that it was my teeth! Maybe now I am getting my top teeth in. Who knows?! I love to play all day long. My favorite thing to do is bounce in my Rainforest Jumperoo. No signs of crawling yet. I don't like being on my tummy. I like to watch what's going on. I can sit up all by myself!

I'm getting so big!

I am growing so fast! I am nearly 20 pounds at 7 months! Coco still outweighs me.

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter at church and then lunch at Aunt Shea and Uncle Jon's. I was in the cutest outfit, but then I peed all through my diaper! Ha!

Leighton loves Coco!

Leighton really enjoys watching our pug, Coco. He changes his tone to a really high-pitch when he is "talking" to her. It cracks us up!

March 2009

Spring Break!!!! Yeahhh! Mommy and I went to see Nanna and Papa in Louisiana. I got to ride on a big airplane and I was so good. I flirted with the flight attendants and clapped and chatted with anyone who would listen. We got to go to the zoo, did some shopping, and spent a lot of time with my grandparents and Uncle Brad. We were gone for over a week and Daddy sure did miss us!

February 2009

It was very cold here in February. I didn't feel so well and we found out that I had bronchiolitis. Lots of prayers were said and after about a week, I felt much better. Granny and Papa suprised us with a visit for Mommy's birthday!

January 2009

Wow, I am over 3 months old! I like to smile and I'm starting to laugh at the silly faces mommy and daddy make. Mommy had to go back to work this month and I miss her a lot. I have a great Nanny taking care of me and we are getting to know a lot about each other!

First Christmas!

I got to see a lot of my family for my very first Christmas! Papa, Granny, and Uncle Brad came up from Louisiana, Aunt Meg, Uncle Paul, Jenner, and Jeffrey came from Missouri, and a whole bunch of other family members I had never met before! The day after Christmas I went with Mommy, Daddy, Granny, Papa, and Uncle Brad to a cool cabin in the mountains in North Carolina. This is where I got to meet my great-grandfather, Walter Myers!

First Road Trip!

Thanksgiving 2008, we traveled to Papa and Granny's in Louisiana. It was a VERY long drive. We stopped in Mississippi to visit some good friends. After 12 hours in the car, we finally made it! It was a wonderful week and we had so much to be thankful for!

Welcome Leighton Cole!

Our baby boy was born on September 23, 2008. He weighed 7 lbs 9oz and 21 inches long! He is a healthy boy and after two nights stay in the hospital was able to go home with mommy and daddy!
The first two months were a BIG adjustment at the Wieland house. Baby Leighton needs to be fed ever 2 hours and it is hard work! Mommy was exhausted and very emotional but we all got through the rough period and now we are happy as can be!
Heather went back to work just before Christmas and Leighton stayed home with Granny Williams! He got lots of attention and loved spending time with Granny!
